Integrated Enterprise Solutions, Inc. is Honored with the 2008 Technology Innovation Award

The Dutchess County Economic Development Corporation held it's 2008 Business Excellence Awards at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie, NY on November 13th and honored 15 local business leaders. The event hosted an astounding 450 people, an increase from last year that filled The Grandview to capacity. IES representatives were on hand to receive the Technology Innovation Award.

Integrated Enterprise Solutions, Inc. Helps Raise Breast Cancer Awareness along with the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce

On a crisp October evening, IES joined the DCRCOC at the Think Pink event located on the top floor of River Station restaurant in Poughkeepsie, NY. The October 7th event was attended by Chamber members and the public to raise awareness about breast cancer that seems to affect more and more women we know. IES also provided attendees one last chance to enter their bid on a gift box put together by Jennifer Bates of Cartier hair salon to encourage a cancer patient to keep fighting and surviving. The evening was heartwarming and ended with an amazing fireworks show provided by Legion Fireworks as well as the Mid-Hudson Bridge lit up in pink lights.

Integrated Enterprise Solutions, Inc. Supports Local Artists at the 2008 Dutchess County Executive’s Arts Awards

The Hudson Valley is a huge inspiration to local area artists and that inspiration; along with the artists themselves were celebrated on October 29th at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie, NY. William Steinhouse handed out the first round of awards at this event, making mention of the great appreciation we all have for art in its many forms. Sponsoring the event was ADP, AT&T, R&C Cleaning, N&S Supply. Award sponsors included NXP founded by Phillips, Rhinebeck Savings Bank, Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Jacobowitz & Gubits, LLP and IES. Awards were given out during the second half of the evening by “County Executive for a Day”, City of Poughkeepsie Mayor John Takyzik. The award categories consisted of individual artist, arts organization, art in public places, individual patron, and business/corporation, arts in education, special citation and youth with exceptional promise in the arts. The event was well attended and the deep gratitude and commitment of all those honored was felt by all.

IES will participate in the 2008 Showcase of Champions event held by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel on October 22nd. The event is open to Chamber members as well as the public and is one of the premier marketing events in the Hudson Valley. The event also boasts a myriad of Chef Demonstrations by some of the Hudson Valley’s finest restaurants and chefs. IES not only has a booth at this event, but they are also hosting two seminars this year.

Integrated Enterprise Solutions, Inc. Tries to Help Women of the Hudson Valley Balance Work and Home Life

IES participated in the first Quest For Balance : Work/Life Expo at the beautiful Locust Grove estate in Poughkeepsie, NY on September 9th. The event was created and hosted by the Women’s Leadership Alliance Committee, a committee formed by professional women who are also members of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce. The event was a great success due to the support of many local women business owners who had exhibits and products or services to help reach the balance between our work and home life that we all strive for. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres by Cosimo’s Restaurant & Trattoria were accompanied by a cash-bar. The event also featured several key note speakers, including local business owner Marlene Weber & Wendy Kauffman. Participation and attendance were at an all time high for this first run event, a sure sign that the hard work and dedication of the WLA committee members paid off.

Integrated Enterprise Solutions, Inc. Puts Healthcare to the Test

IES gladly sponsored the 2008 Healthcare Invitational held at Gold’s Gym on Titusville Road in Poughkeepsie, NY. The event was hosted by DRA Imaging, Gold’s Gym and Dr. Richard Gennaro of Gennaro Chiropractic. Over 200 physician’s offices within the Hudson Valley were scheduled to compete in a variety of sporting events with the hope of bringing home the “Gold” for their office. IES sponsored the Golf Putt event and provided baseball caps complete with the IES logo for all team participants for this event. Health and wellness is something none of us should take for granted and this event was a great way to promote taking time to take care of ourselves. Congratulations to all the winners!

Integrated Enterprise Solutions, Inc. supports the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s 2008 Golf Tournament

IES has lent their support to the 8th Annual Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Golf Tournament to be held at the Dutchess Golf and Country Club in Poughkeepsie, NY on September 15th. Along with a host of other sponsors, IES is supporting this event which will help raise money for the Foundation’s scholarship fund. The event has a shotgun start at 1pm as teams compete on the golf course to win local bragging rights. A dinner is scheduled to follow the event to help the golfers wind down. Best of luck to all the players, local students are counting on you!

Integrated Enterprise Solutions, Inc. enjoys the 2008 Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce Balloon Festival.

IES supported the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2008 Balloon Festival and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the majestic balloons as they took off in the early morning hours during the festival that ran from July 18th to the 20th. The event draws large crowds and includes a VIP dinner at the Mid Hudson Children’s Museum pavilion along the Poughkeepsie waterfront on Saturday, July 19th. Carnival rides were also available for the guests’ entertainment on Saturday, as well as an amazing fireworks display to wrap up the night.

IES sets sail aboard the River Rose for the DCRCOC “Floating Business Break”

IES co-sponsored the 2008 Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s “Floating Business Break” aboard the River Rose Wednesday, June 25th with Marshall & Sterling, The Chazen Companies, MD Imaging and Momentum Advertising. The event featured music by Not Just Music and catering provided by Holberts Catering and Backyard Bistro. A finer evening for a cruise on the Hudson River couldn’t be found as no clouds filled the sky and a pleasant breeze greeted guests as they enjoyed good food and spirits.

IES rolls out the “orange” carpet for a VIP Ribbon Cutting

IES was proud to announce their Ribbon Cutting celebration with the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, June 26th, 2008, 5-7pm at their offices in the 376 Business Park in Wappingers Falls, NY. IES celebrated their 10 years of outstanding IT service (IES incorporated in 1998), but also celebrated its recent expansion into Suite 5 in addition to the Suite 1 office space they occupy at the 376 Business Park location. This event featured exhibits on Networking & Security, Email Hosting & Back up Services, Web Development and more. The event also included a cocktail reception catered by Creative Caterers of the Hudson Valley and wine tasting courtesy of Stoutridge Vineyard. IES raffled off a gift basket filled with gourmet treats from the Hudson Valley and special guest, Tarryl Gable of Tarryl Fine Art, raffled off a selection from her artwork of which several were displayed at the event. The event was attended by guests from all types of local businesses as well as current customers and family members of the staff. The staff did a great job of educating and entertaining the guests and the ribbon cutting was marked a success by co-founders Alexandra Laubacker and Eric Gorman. Alexandra and Eric were also presented with an original piece of art selected by the DCRCOC as a thank you for their efforts to help maintain and support their website.

IES brushes off their bowling shoes for a good cause.
Two teams of four and several cheerleaders later, IES participated in the 10th Annual Super-Bowl-A-Thon held by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and hosted by Mardi-Bob Lanes, Taft Avenue, Poughkeepsie. Clear Channel’s “Morning Mayor” emceed the event to raise money for the Dutchess County Regional Chamber Foundation’s Scholarship Program. Laughter and good fun was the real payoff at this event as teams went head to head to win office bragging rights as the best bowler.

IES along with other corporate supporters is helping the Alzheimer’s Association honor Health Quest and Compensation Risk Management, LLC for their continued support of the local community. As a “Thank You!” to IES staff, owners Alexandra Laubacker and Eric Gorman funded a corporate outing to a major league baseball game.
On August 9th IES staff members were treated to breakfast sandwiches at the Brookmeade Deli, then a limousine provided by Countrywide Limo Service to make their way down to Shea Stadium to see the Mets take on the Atlanta Braves. A great time was had by all, but unfortunately for the die hard Met fans, victory was not theirs and the Braves won the game 7 to 6.

IES holds a Ribbon Cutting event with the help of the Greater Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce.
On the 21st of August, IES opened its Wappingers Falls doors to the GSDCC staff to hold a ribbon cutting event to celebrate their recent membership to the chamber. The event was publicized and attended by some of IES’ local customers as well as staff from the Poughkeepsie Area Chamber of Commerce. Refreshments were provided at this lunchtime event, catering courtesy of Parties by Tomas`. Alexandra Laubacker, President of IES, gave a welcome speech and all of the staff was introduced. A tour of their Suite 1 and Suite 5 office space at the 376 Business Park was also given to attendees.

IES joins the Greater Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce for its 2007 Business and Consumer Expo event at Gold’s Gym Sports Complex on Titusville Road in Poughkeepsie.
IES received ad placement in the event program as part of its participation and a booth at the tradeshow. IES auctioned off an iPod Nano to anyone dropping in a business card or raffle ticket into their drawing, as well as offering a door prize of a $25.00 gift certificate to The Blue Fountain Italian restaurant located in Hopewell Junction, NY. The event was open to the public and fellow business professionals and was widely publicized in both chamber communications and radio spots.

IES sponsors and attends the 2007 Poughkeepsie Area Chamber of Commerce Centennial Gala on February 3rd.
The evening was full of excitement as guests were treated to culinary delights provided by the chefs at The Grandview on Rinaldi Boulevard in Poughkeepsie, NY. Guests had the opportunity to purchase gift boxes with a variety of prizes given away by chamber members. IES, as part of their Gold Centennial Sponsorship for 2007, offered up an all-in-one MP3 player that was even water proof! It was a fun filled evening to celebrate the Chamber’s 100 years of service. In a more personal celebration, employee Jean-Moise Lucien announced his upcoming participation in a triathalon in order to raise money for THE LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY in memory of his grandmother.

As part of the Gold Centennial sponsorship, IES was a sponsor for the Chamber’s Gala event on February 3rd, 2007. In addition, IES receives throughout 2007 their name on a special Centennial banner highlighting the Gold sponsors to be displayed at all Chamber events, Centennial company name tags for up to 10 company representatives as well as recognition on all Chamber talk shows.
